Legends can only put 20 levels into a single class, so there are a ton of options to build a double-classed magic/melee character, or a smattering of several different classes that grant multiple abilities to make the player even more versatile and independent. They get 20 extra levels to expand their capabilities, multiclassing into other areas to give themselves a wider range of access to spells, attacks and abilities. While other Mythic Paths offer incredibly powerful abilities and feats that may make them seem superior, the fact of the matter is Legends simply don't need them.
